Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the reel-media website and related automated short-form video tools and services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
reel-media is operated by Isaac Barnes (“we”, “us”). Contact: isaacbarnes0084@gmail.com.
2. The Service
reel-media helps create and publish short-form video content (including YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok) using scripts, templates, local media, and platform APIs. Parts of the Service may be experimental, automated, or limited to authorised operators.
3. Accounts and platform credentials
- You are responsible for social accounts, developer apps, OAuth tokens, and API credentials you connect to the Service.
- You must comply with YouTube, Meta/Instagram, TikTok, and any other platform terms, community guidelines, and developer policies.
- You must not use the Service to upload content you do not have rights to publish, or that violates applicable law or platform rules.
4. Content responsibility
You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process, render, package, and publish that content as directed by you through the Service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of published material, including speculative or “what if” entertainment content.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Harass, defame, doxx, or exploit any person
- Publish illegal, infringing, or deceptive material
- Bypass kill switches, policy checks, or platform safety controls we provide
- Attempt unauthorised access to systems, tokens, or other users’ data
6. Automation and disclaimers
Automated ideation, scripting, rendering, and publishing may contain errors. Counterfactual or entertainment content is not historical fact. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or platform approval outcomes (including TikTok app review).
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law and other applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service, including account suspensions, quota limits, or failed publishes on third-party platforms. Nothing in these Terms excludes non-excludable consumer guarantees.
8. Termination
We may suspend or stop providing the Service at any time. You may stop using the Service at any time and revoke connected platform tokens.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Courts in that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to non-excludable rights you may have elsewhere.
